Is it mandatory to attempt mediation before going to court?

Not in all cases, although mediation is increasingly encouraged as a preliminary step. In our firm we assess this option before commencing litigation.

How long can a judicial proceeding in Palma de Mallorca last?

It depends on the type of procedure and the competent court, but we provide a realistic estimate from the outset so that the client can plan accordingly.

Can I recover my legal costs if I win the case?

Yes, in most cases the losing party may be ordered to pay the winning party’s costs, although this is not automatic and depends on the judge’s decision.
